About us
Brûlerie Munro Roasters went into operation in December 2020. The owner, Mathieu Noël, has had a passion for coffee since his post-secondary studies. A mechanical engineer by trade, he has been studying the art of roasting for a very long time.
By using his experience in processing to produce specialty coffees, he wishes to awaken in you this connection between body and mind through the ritual of coffee.
The roasting operation is located at Cielo – Glamping Maritime in Haut-Shippagan, NB, in the Acadian Peninsula.
The collaboration and business partnership with Emilie Leblanc and Patrick Gauvin, co-owners of Cielo – Glamping Maritime, played a big role in the success of our start-up.
Together, we are proud to contribute to the development of our beautiful rural community.
Rooted in our region
The name Munro is inspired by a desert island in the bay of St-Simon over which we have a panoramic view.
For us, this beautiful island means freedom, exploration and the importance of a healthy environment.
Our logo
The sails on the logo refer to our love for the sea and the Acadian Peninsula, which offers extraordinary attractions for enjoying the outdoors.
Munro therefore also means having the wind in your sails and growing together with our community!
